I call BS on attempting to do the job like that. Can it be done that way? Yes, will it turn out to be a quality job, No. There's a SFZA club down there and they post stuff in the events section all the time. Get in touch with with the members of that club and get word of mouth recommendations. If that shop does it that way "all the time" then they're a half ass shop performing work half-ass. Just because they work on Z's doesn't make them qualified to work on Z's, get my drift. So I'm trying to picture this process in my mind....... engine hanging from an engine hoist... wire harness connected and pulled tight against firewall at it's limit... some wire harness connectors unplugged, others left hooked up... mechanics working on engine hanging over the fenders while placing manifolds, tooling, turbos, etc. all over the front of the car with or without covers.... fluids draining all over the chassis and fenderwells..... meanwhile the engine's hanging there precariously..for days...hope they trust the lift.... Man I'm glad I do all my own work... Good luck
